Birthday Tuesday
Lorena’s birthday was yesterday and the unofficial theme of her gift-covered desk became orange. Orchids with orange mouths, cookies from My Dough Girl with orange polka-dot packaging, and even orange lilies. VOX’s official color is red, but we were all about orange for a day of celebration because it stimulates socialization, has great energy, and is relentlessly cheerful and bold, just like the birthday girl.

Belt it!
Kami took to the stage at the Utah Arts Festival and covered the likes of Led Zeppelin, Sheryl Crow, and Evanescence. A wide range of songs to show off her wide vocal range. The tent was hot, the crowd was seated, but enraptured, and the musicians, for how young they were had talent that shined! What a Way to Start a Day.
Early Morning. World Cup. USA vs. Algeria. TV in the conference room. Drawn out heartbreaking game with bad calls and close calls and all the essential stuff of a great game. Then, like magic at the best moment, the ball pops into the goal, out of the goal, and goes back in off the foot of Landon Donovan- who then penguin slides as victory dance! Needless to say, after such a dynamite morning, we are back to the grindstone with the usual fervor, but mixed with a little bit of national pride, a dose of adrenaline, and with smiles on our faces.Posted by VOX Creative at 08:58 AM 0 comments

Look Up.
At VOX we love many artists, but none more than Frida. When it comes to visiting clients for errands there is always something new to look at when we stop by Frida Bistro. This time we were dazzled by tiny winged neon-painted skeleton ornaments that hang from the ceiling of the restaurant, a recent aquisition by owner Jorge Fierro from a recent trip to Mexico. (Next time you dine there, please take note.)
